I, like many others, have horror-filled memories of dentistry in the 50’s and 60’s.  That fear stayed with me over the years.  Needless to say as a dental patient, I’m the one hovering about 3 inches over the chair.  Since I became a patient of Dr. Merrill’s, I have come to the place where going to the dentist is not the trauma it once was.  Over the 14 years that I’ve been his patient, I’ve become a loyal fan.  He is patient-he explains every procedure before he begins.  Once a diagnosis is made he explains the situation and together we discuss the treatment options.  Dr. Merrill and his staff are the best.  Even in painful situations one feels comfortable with them.

Dr. Merrill's office came recommended to me by a friend.  My first dentist at age 5-8 left me with nightmares of his actions and since then I have been petrified of dentist and still am at age 52.  I broke a tooth and had to make the dreaded phone call to Dr. Merrill's office.  Taking me on as a new patient I figured I would have to wait several days to be seen.  But I was seen within 48 hours.  The receptionist was so kind to me when I called to make the appointment. On entering the office, I was greeted with friendly and caring people.  The financial person (Angie) was so helpful.  Lauren did my cleaning and was so sweet.  She talked to me and that kept my mind busy.  Dr. Merrill and Lynn have been with me during my visits to have x-rays and crowns.  I could not have asked for two people to be any more understanding with me.  They are so patient and check on me after I come home (after hours).  I have never been treated so kindly.  The entire office is just wonderful and I appreciate them from the bottom of my heart.
